A highly durable, abuse resistant perforated metal acoustical panel. Available with a flat or V-groove face.
Kinetics Model KNP Panel Absorbers are functional and aesthetically pleasing perforated panels which are used to control reverberant noise problems in factories, waste water treatment facilities, pump rooms, equipment yard barrier walls and other factory and environmental applications. Although primarily intended as an absorber, the panels will act as a barrier when a sheet metal back is added. KNP panels are also useful as additions to existing barriers to reduce reverberation time and to lower reflected sound.
Application:
Kinetics Model KNP Panels are excellent sound absorbers over a wide frequency range. Their acoustic properties combined with their appearance and rugged durability make them a perfect choice for controlling reverberant noise problems. KNP Panels are suitable for outdoor use and are ideal for installation over existing barrier walls and are excellent in resisting damage from impacts, abrasion, or moisture.
Panels can be attached to walls, ceilings, or other surfaces and can be located in a manner to achieve a pleasing appearance.
KNP Panels are also available with optional rear backing to increase their transmission loss and be used as a barrier. In addition, KNP Panels can be faced with perforated material on both sides and used as hanging baffles.
For optimum performance, panel selection and spacing should be done by a professional based on elevation of existing room acoustics and desired results.
