Where masonry partitions need to be acoustically decoupled from the floor to reduce sound transmission.
Specifications
Partition isolation material shall consist of 7/16" thick 10 pcf molded fiber glass pads encased in a water resistant elastomeric coating. Load surface shall be a (.25" thick hardboard NAFP-10) or (16 ga. galvanized steel channel PC-10) bonded to the isolation pad. Material shall be installed continuously beneath the wall.
