Use IPRB for walls to be completely decoupled from the deck. In stud walls use IPRB-48 continuously if the top of partition is exposed, or stagger IPRB-6 if the head of the partition is above a gypsum board ceiling. IPRB-48 should be used for CMU applications.

  • Used on both sides of an isolated partition.
  • Available in continuous strips (IPRB-48) or segmented (IPRB-6)
  • Can be reversed (IPRB-R) if partition is close to non-isolated structure.
